Flexible Wire Net

Flexible Wire Net

As part of the core studio 318 tracks, the project of Flexible Wire Net was inspired by the open/closed capability of lichens. Each module was composed of four 3D wire frames, made from piano wires, bent and connected with each other in a specific geometric order by silver beads. The wire frames held each other in structure while the connection points remained certain flexibility, allowing the whole system to keep certain flexibility.
